Shipping policy
I cannot guarantee shipping time frames. Delays in shipment can occur and are not the responsibility of Southern MD Tropicals LLC. Extreme weather conditions, mishandling of packages by the shipper, loss or stolen packages etc., can all cause shipping delays. We take special care to ensure that plants and plant accessories are properly packed to prevent damage as best as possible.
Once plants are shipped, we assume no responsibility for loss or damages.
All orders are processed within 1 to 7 business days (excluding weekends and holidays). Upon receiving your order confirmation email, we check the weather conditions for shipping locations. Extreme weather conditions such as extreme heat or cold may delay shipment. Please check your weather conditions prior to placing an order. You will be notified if a longer than normal delay is required. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped.

*All orders placed after our scheduled ship days will ship out the following Monday. *
Example: If you place an order with us after 12:00pm EST. on Wednesday (standard shipping), your order will ship out the following Monday.
*Please note: Our plant shipping days are structured in a manor to provide customers with safe shipment (to the best of our ability) of their plant orders.*

Local Meetup is available Monday- Friday from 9:00am-11:00am Est, and 2:30pm-5:00pm Est.

We Now offer free delivery within a 25 mile radius of Leonardtown MD to local customers with a total purchase of $45.00 or more.
How do I check the status of our order?
When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.
If you haven’t received your order within 4 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at southernmdtropicals@gmail.com with your name and order number, and we will check on status of your shipment for you.
